How Much: $25 per hour and up!

About The Job

The Grunt Work LLC is a small collective of voter-contact experts that focus on delivering PACs, unions and non-profits with the highest quality canvassing and signature-gathering programs in America.

The primary role of this job is to be out in the public walking around residential neighborhoods, engaging with targeted voters and Nevada residents about the upcoming election, and to record the data you collect in real-time. Folks from all walks of life are welcome to apply. Canvassers report to a canvassing office every day, where they will be managed by a Canvass Manager. The Grunt Work provides you with all of the equipment, technology, transportation and supplies needed for you to do the job.

Availability Requirements

If you are interested and available to work between now through Election Day, you are encouraged to apply. Shifts are either 4 or 8 hours long, and all personnel must work entire shifts. There are no fixed days you must work, and shifts are typically available every day. The schedule is flexible, and you may work one shift per week, or work almost every shift per week, as long as you are on time and able to work the entire shift. Qualifications

Nevada resident, 17 & over

Comfortable working alone and unsupervised in public

Able to be outside and on your feet for nearly your entire shift

Ability to walk multiple miles per day

Have a knack for talking to people and making people feel comfortable talking to you

Ability to learn about, and discuss, the serious issues facing voters in Nevada

Ability to be on time. Canvassers must always arrive early enough to be ready to work when the shift begins.

Ability to use a smartphone and record data in real-time

Ability to consistently meet and exceed the minimum average performance standards

Demonstrated ability to stay on script and consistently discuss company-provided talking points with targeted voters

Compensation

$25 per hour, with the chance to make up to $30 per hour
